Nestled in a valley along the scenic Middle Fork of Southwest Oregon's Coquille River, Remote Outpost RV Park offers an idyllic retreat for nature enthusiasts. It was originally developed in 1972, and has grown to be a nature lover's dream retreat, with its surrounding terrain and forest. Our riverfront cabin and RV campgrounds are also 270 feet above sea level and 40 miles from the coast.

River Access for Adventure and Relaxation
Our RV park in Remote, OR, features direct access to the river, complete with steps leading to a deck landing for wildlife and river viewing. A sandy beach and swimming hole are located further down these steps. Alongside the river, we have lovely walking paths with trees and expansive grassy fields ideal for leisurely strolls and enjoying nature.
Outdoor Pavilion for Gatherings
The outdoor pavilion at our RV park provides an inviting space for friends and families to gather. Equipped with picnic tables and chairs, this area also features a large fireplace perfect for sharing stories and enjoying the great outdoors.

Safety and cleanliness are top priorities at our RV park. Recognized as the cleanest and safest park in Coos County, OR, we offer secure gated access to ensure peace of mind during your stay. Each campsite is well-maintained and equipped with RV hookups, providing all the essentials for a comfortable getaway.
Additional Amenities for an Unforgettable Stay
- Indoor Common Area
We have a cozy indoor common area with a fireplace and a fully furnished kitchen. This kitchen has a range, microwave, and refrigerator for group activities. Extra tables and chairs, as well as dishes, silverware, pots, and pans, are also available for your convenience.
- Game Processing Area
For our hunting guests, we provide a covered game processing area with overhead cranes and a cool box for game.
Important Reminders for Your Visit
- Dogs are welcome but must remain on a leash and cannot be left unattended or barking.
- Fire rings and fire pits are not available at individual sites. However, guests may bring their own, but it must be self-contained.
- Propane fire pits are allowed year-round, and propane is available for purchase on-site.
- Please refrain from using wood-burning or charcoal BBQs during high-fire danger season.
- Be aware that Sites 20, 21, 22, 23, and 24 are permanently occupied.
